Line and Shape
My best photo is the second one that is looking at a couple of stacked crates. I am about 25 feet away from the crates. I was close enough to the crates so that I didn't have to zoom in. The point of view is slightly looking up to the right. The photo is horizontal so that the most amount of detail was in the photo rather than vertical which would contain more of the sky. The rule of thirds was considered when taking this photo with the open door would be on the line of two of the rectangles. The sixth photo is a dynamic composition because it uses the zigzag of the sidewalk to lead the viewer through all parts of the photo.
Pattern and Texture
My best photo is the photo of the two leaves. The two leaves were on the ground overlapping. The picture was taken from above, close enough to see all the details of the leaves and close enough to not have to zoom in. The photo is vertical rather than horizontal to show more of the leaves. Yes this photo follows the rule of thirds. The stem follows the bottom third of the photo almost perfectly. The other stem also cuts from the bottom of one rectangle to the top of another going from thick to thin. This photo is an example of texture because it includes all of the details of the leaves.
